Collecting

2019  Installation

An installation of collected material (sketchbooks, hand bound books of hand-made paper, writings, objects, receipts, gifts, carved objects, matchbox) amassed over three months of studying abroad in Estonia. With hand-made silver birch chairs and hand-made cups filled with mulled wine. All to be used, read and touched. In the old sauna room of the old sculpture department building on the outskirts of Tallinn city. A record of my experiences and exchanges with people, places and materials.

Part of the group exhibition Something, everything, anything, nothing, I think we made it!?! with artists Wimke Dekker, Marie-Lou Laforest and Anita Moser at Raja Gallery, Tallinn.
